Associate Vice President, Principal Giving at Boston College
Ben Anderson serves as the Associate Vice President for Principal Giving and Campaign Director at Boston College. He has been with the institution since 2012, initially joining as the Associate Director for Capital Giving. Over the years, he has progressed through various leadership roles, including Director of Parent Development and Director of Alumni and Parent Major Giving.12
In his current position, Anderson is responsible for leading major giving initiatives, which encompass Major Gifts, Planned Giving, International Advancement, and Parent Major Giving. He manages a portfolio of high-value prospects rated between $1 million and $25 million, focusing on both local and international donors.12
Before his tenure at Boston College, Anderson worked as a Major Gift Officer with Habitat for Humanity International and gained fundraising experience at Skidmore College. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bates College and a Master’s degree from Boston College.13
