Laurel Edson

Laurel Edson is a talented fundraising professional with a passion for developing relationships between schools and their alumni. She attended Northfield Mount Hermon for high school and Scripps College for her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Music.

Laurel has a diverse background in fundraising and development, having worked in alumni giving and programs, annual fund initiatives, and major gifts at both Northfield Mount Hermon and Scripps College. She also served as the International Campaign Officer for Northfield Mount Hermon, where she spearheaded fundraising efforts for the school's International Student Fund.

Most recently, Laurel has been the Director of Alumni Giving at The Thacher School, where she manages fundraising campaigns, cultivates relationships with alumni, and oversees the annual giving program. Prior to this role, she was the Senior Major Gifts Officer at Northfield Mount Hermon, where she raised funds for the school's endowment, capital projects, and other priority initiatives.

Laurel's experience also extends beyond the education sector, having worked as the Administrative Coordinator and Partnerships & Projects Manager at Levitt Pavilions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free music concerts in underserved communities.
