Beena Bhagwat

Beena Bhagwat is an accomplished Indian classical vocalist, renowned musician, and a respected Guru-teacher. Based in Bangalore, India, Beena has extensively toured in India and overseas, impressing her audience with her soulful renditions and melodious voice. With over three decades of experience, Beena has received numerous awards and accolades for her contribution to Indian classical music. Beena has also composed music for dance dramas, ballets and films, and collaborated with other musicians in fusion projects. Beena is a disciple of legendary vocalist Smt. Kishori Amonkar, and has also trained with other prominent Gurus - Pt. Ratnakar Pai and Pt. Dinkar Panshikar. Beena has also conducted lecture-demonstrations, workshops, and interactive sessions in colleges and universities, sharing her knowledge and expertise with young musicians and music enthusiasts. Besides music, Beena has a deep interest in Indian mythology, philosophy, and spirituality.
