Beatrix Carroll
Beatrix "Betsy" Carroll is a New York City-based software engineer and stand-up comedian with a passion for coding and creativity. She has a Master's in Computer Science from Columbia University and a background in architecture and mathematics. Betsy is currently a Software Engineer II at Vettery, where she uses Python extensively. She has experience in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and Java. In her previous roles, Betsy worked at Intent Media Inc., The Rap Insider, and The Nightingale-Bamford School. She has also been a performer in Tino Sehgal's Performance Art Piece at Guggenheim Museum and was an assistant to Alfredo Jaar. With a love for lively cultures, kind engineers, and exciting products, Betsy thrives on being part of a team. On the side, she enjoys painting, training her dog, and performing stand-up.
