Yash Karle

Yash Karle is a Data Scientist at CarTrawler, based in Dublin, Ireland. He has a strong background in software engineering, having previously worked as a full-stack developer at Dell EMC and Oliver Wyman Labs. Karle holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Science from University College Dublin (UCD), where he gained hands-on experience in areas such as Machine Learning, Data Visualization, and Text Analytics.

In his current role at CarTrawler, which he joined in January 2022, Karle focuses on revenue optimization and has worked on various projects, including developing a Recommended Sort algorithm that improved profit margins and strategizing a near real-time car pricing solution using advanced machine learning techniques. His approach to data science emphasizes a systematic pipeline process encompassing data sourcing, modeling, infrastructure, and measurement to ensure effective deployment and continuous improvement of machine learning models.123

Karle's experience spans over three years in data science roles, including positions at Bank of Ireland, where he developed propensity models and customer-centric recommendation engines. His programming skills include proficiency in Python, Golang, and JavaScript, allowing him to tackle complex programming challenges effectively.1
