Jakub Langr

Jakub Langr is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in data & AI. Currently serving as the CTO for Tenderd (YC S18) and previously founded an AI startup named Hypermile, supported by Y Combinator, where he raised millions, secured grant funding, and expanded the team significantly.

Langr is a well-known figure in the AI community as the author of a best-selling book on Generative AI, specifically on Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). This book, 'GANs in Action' published by Manning Publications, has achieved international recognition and been translated into multiple languages.

His professional journey includes diverse roles and contributions, from leading the R&D Data Science team at Mudano and facilitating substantial company growth to being a regular contributor to reputable platforms like Towards Data Science, Forbes, and HackerNews. Moreover, Jakub's expertise has been acknowledged through a US PTO patent in AI climate tech.

With an educational background encompassing a BA and MA (Hons) in PPE from the University of Oxford, Jakub has not only excelled in academia but also in practical applications, having designed and implemented mission-critical ML algorithms for both FTSE100 companies and startups.
