Wilco Verdoold RM
Wilco Verdoold RM has an extensive background in marketing, digital innovation, and artificial intelligence (AI). He graduated cum laude in Computer Science and obtained a Master of Science in Co-operative Computing from Middlesex University. Wilco is recognized as a Register Marketeer (RM) / Expert Marketing Professional (EMP). He has had various roles including manager, advisor, and entrepreneur.
Together with Marco Frijlink, Wilco authored the book 'Achieving Business Goals with Social Media' (First edition 2015 - Eleventh edition 2023). He is currently active as a speaker, author, and advisor, aiming to inspire a new generation of marketers. Since 2020, he has been teaching courses such as global marketing, market research, branding, and neuromarketing at the Commercial Economics program.
From 2023, Wilco has been associated with the Centre for Market Insights (CMI), focusing on research involving the impact of generative AI on marketing and organizations. He has a rich educational background including studies at Middlesex University, Business School Nederland, Erasmus University, Sioo, and Hogeschool van Utrecht. Throughout his career, he has held positions at various organizations such as the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, Knowworks, CopyRobin, Mediaweb, Loyals, Budeco, Sogyo, Cibit, and Nationale-Nederlanden.
