Bawa Jain

Bawa Jain is a prominent leader and advocate for peace and responsible leadership, currently serving as the Founder and President of The Centre for Responsible Leadership, a non-profit organization established in February 2019. This organization focuses on gathering global thought leaders to address significant challenges facing the world today, particularly through initiatives at the United Nations and various events across North America and Europe.1

In addition to his role at The Centre for Responsible Leadership, Jain has held several influential positions, including:

• Secretary General of the Millennium World Peace Summit, where he facilitated a historic gathering of over 1,200 religious leaders from 120 countries at the United Nations.
• Chairman of the World Youth Peace Summit, which connects young leaders from around the globe to promote peace initiatives.
• Founding Secretary General of the World Council of Religious Leaders (WCORL), an organization aimed at fostering interfaith dialogue.12

Jain's contributions extend to various peace initiatives, including the establishment of the Gandhi-King Award to honor individuals who exemplify the legacies of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. His efforts have earned him recognition and awards from multiple organizations dedicated to peace and humanitarian efforts.1

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University and has been involved in corporate management as well, having founded a diversified construction and development firm in India.1
