Barbara Mahoney

Barbara Mahoney is an accomplished attorney and partner at Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, specializing in class action and complex litigation, consumer fraud, false claims, and civil RICO. Ms. Mahoney attended the University of Washington School of Law and worked at a law firm in Seattle before joining Hagens Berman in 2006. She has been instrumental in multiple lawsuits against McKesson Corporation, resulting in two national class-action settlements for $350 million and $82 million and settlements by individual Medicaid agencies. Ms. Mahoney also represents Northeast Washington residents against Teck mining company for pollution-related personal injuries. Ms. Mahoney has a PhD in Philosophy from Universtät Freiburg and is a former judicial clerk at the Washington Supreme Court. In 2005, Washington Law & Politics named her a "Rising Star."
