-Design posters, advertisements and other branded materials
-Compile community events into a monthly calendar, which is then mailed out to numerous businesses in the community
-Produce news releases
-Apply my knowledge of Brookings to ensure visitors and locals enjoy a dynamic experience while visiting, playing and working in our community
-Work side by side with the Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Brookings Inc. and Brookings Economic Development Corp.

-Met with local community members, SDSU students and faculty to produce articles
-Worked and completed articles within a two week deadline
-Accepted creative and constructive criticism in regards to my articles
-Gained experience in a newsroom
-Enhanced my personal writing style
-Effectively communicated with my news editor about leads, story ideas and general direction of the article

- Developed time management skills 
- Worked as team with the kitchen, hostesses, serves and managers
- Would have to serve a rail of 12 seats and fix drinks from the wheel drink orders placed by a number of servers
- In charge of cleaning the entire bar as well as counting down the till
- Had great communication with all managers
- Expedite food
