Leading the strategic direction and operational management of corporate services for one of Canada’s largest youth-serving nonprofits. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a member of the organization's executive leadership team, I have general accountability for People & Culture, Finance & Accounting, Information Technology, Diversity/Inclusion and Reconciliation, Safe Scouting, Risk Management, Insurance, Legal, and Business Services. 

With functional oversight of the organization's operating budget and investment portfolio, I am also responsible for liaising with and/or reporting to several sub-committees of the Board of Governors, including the Finance/Audit Committee and Pension Committee. 

Leading a full team of approximately 35 individuals, with 6 direct reports at the director and manager level.

This position was also tasked with leading the People & Culture (HR and volunteers) department by providing management of day-to-day HR activities and systems to support the achievement of CF Canada’s business strategies, priorities, and objectives.
