Axel Persson is a seasoned sales and marketing professional with a passion for helping tech companies grow. Originally from Sweden, Axel has spent the past nine years living and working in various parts of the world, including Scotland, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Canada. With extensive experience in strategic planning and business development, Axel has a proven track record of effective leadership and teamwork, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a relentless instinct for getting things done.

Axel studied International Business, Marketing, and Management at both the University of Strathclyde and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he received a BA (Hons) degree with distinction. He also studied Film Studies at Malmö högskola.

Currently, Axel serves as the Director of Sales Marketing at Operto, where he and his team are on a mission to transform the management of short-term accommodations. By providing property managers with fully automated keyless entry systems and hospitality automation, they save managers time and money while creating a better guest experience. Prior to Operto, Axel served as Marketing Manager at Edvisor.io, International Sales Manager at Tailor On Ten, Marketing Manager at Tailor On Ten, Sales Advisor at Charles Tyrwhitt, Sales Advisor at Gant AB, and Temporary Assistant Manager at ICA Malmborgs Mobilia.
