Austin Erlich

Austin Erlich, a seasoned investor, board member, executive, advisor, and mentor, has an impressive professional background that spans over three decades. After studying computer science and physics at Rutgers University, Erlich went on to lead Oracle's largest applications consulting practice, serve as a director of information technology at Oracle, and become an AVP at Prudential Bache Securities. Erlich's experience also includes time as a scientific code consultant at the John Von Neumann National Super Computer Center and a staff physicist at Princeton Plasma Physics.

Erlich's most notable role was that of co-founder and CEO of Quovera, a systems integration, management consulting, and cloud computing company that served Global 100, Fortune 500, and High Growth Middle Market clients. He provided initial funding for the successful startup, which reached profitability after three months of operations and became cash flow positive by the end of its first year. Under Erlich's leadership, Quovera's revenue doubled annually for the first six years of operation, with the company reaching $87M in its sixth year.

Erlich is also highly involved in civic engagement. He has served on the boards of Palo Alto Little League and the Palo Alto YMCA, as well as coached youth sports such as AYSO Soccer, YMCA Basketball, National Junior Basketball, Little League Baseball, and Girls Softball.

Erlich's expertise includes investing, raising capital, executive management, business development, corporate strategy, organizational transformation, management consulting, finance, operations, and information technology. He has invested in and advised numerous organizations, including Kyto Technology and Life Science Inc, Silicon Catalyst, VALFIX medical, SuperMem, and U-Nest. Erlich is also the co-chair of the HardTech SIG at Band of Angels, a former CEO of Quovera, an investor in Band of Angels, and a former advisory board member of Quantum Thought.
