Austin Arensberg

Austin Arensberg is the Senior Director at Okta Ventures, where he leads the fund's investments in startups enabled by privacy, identity, and security.12345 Since inception, Okta Ventures has invested in 35 companies, including Kandji, Drata, Immuta, Tessian, Dig, Pangea, and others.23

Prior to Okta, Austin spent 10 years investing in the US and internationally in venture capital, private equity, and corporate development. He led US investments for Scrum Ventures in San Francisco.1235 Austin has also worked in operational management consulting at Samsung and began his career as an environmental researcher.15

Austin holds an MBA from INSEAD and completed his BA in Environmental Studies and Political Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder.15 He is a 2016 Marshall Memorial Fellow, Kauffman Fellow, and serves as Board Emeritus for the Princeton in Asia Fellowship Program.135
