Atif Malik, a highly experienced and accomplished professional, is currently the Director of KPMG's CIO Advisory, leading the Hybrid Data Center / Multi-cloud practice. He has over 20 years of global hands-on experience in data center and IT infrastructure, public/private/hybrid cloud systems and storage architecture, cost optimization, and IT consulting services across multiple industries. He has remarkable strengths in delivering multi-stakeholder strategy and road map development, decision support, business case development, investment financial analysis, and due diligence.

At KPMG, he oversees Hybrid Data Center / Multi-cloud practice, including large-scale deployments, IT infrastructure design & implementation, systems integration, process improvement, service management, and structured methodologies. At Sungard Availability Services, he served as the Consulting Director of Data Center Infrastructure Optimization, managing over 50 data center migration and application rationalization projects. He identified application dependencies, risk mitigation and successfully managed complex integrated projects with strict program management and governance standards. His experience extends to cloud automation/operations engineering, cloud computing, and application management.

He studied Mechanical Engineering at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering and earned an MBA in Finance from Regis University. His expertise lies in data center strategy and consolidation, data center/enterprise cloud migrations (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), IT cost optimization, resiliency, continuity, and recovery.
