Amandeep currently leads product and engineering at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he spearheads the development of a new line of data privacy and governance solutions.

Before joining AWS, Amandeep co-founded Okera, a data management company focused on data privacy, security, and governance. Under his leadership as the founding CEO, Okera secured $14.6 million in funding from prominent investors such as Bessemer, Felicis, and Capital One. Amandeep successfully designed and launched the minimum viable product, nurtured design partnerships, and acquired early customers. As the company grew to over 35 employees, he skillfully transitioned leadership to his co-founder. Okera's success story culminated in an acquisition by Databricks in 2023.

Amandeep's educational journey includes obtaining a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. He honed his talents in problem-solving and critical thinking during his secondary education at Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram, where he excelled in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science in the All India Secondary School Examination.

He has also contributed his expertise as a startup helper, data and analytics strategy consultant, and an independent consultant. Amandeep's passion for mentoring and entrepreneurship led him to serve as a mentor for an entrepreneurship course at the University of California, Berkeley.

He has been a member of the Forbes Technology Council and a fellow of On Deck, a community for entrepreneurs and leaders.
