Ashlynn Messmore

Ashlynn Messmore is a dedicated individual with a strong background in genetic counseling and volunteer work.

She has been actively involved in various organizations and programs, including UCLA Genetic Counseling Student Interest Group (GCSIG), Move A Child Higher (MACH 1), and California State University Northridge (CSUN).

Ashlynn has served as a Crisis Helpline Volunteer at CSUN, an intern at MACH 1 where she worked with disabled children through therapeutic horseback riding, and as a mentor at Los Angeles Team Mentors (LATM).

Her experience also includes being a Care Extender at the Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center and Orthopedic Hospital, showcasing her commitment to healthcare.

Ashlynn's academic background includes studying Human Biology and Society at UCLA and pursuing a Master's of Science in Genetic Counseling at the University of California, Irvine.

She has held various roles such as Genetics Counselor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of California, Irvine, in addition to being a Genetic Counseling Graduate Student at UC Irvine.
