Ashley Taylor
Ashley Taylor is a litigation partner and co-head of the Insolvency and Restructuring Group at Stikeman Elliott's Toronto office with a focus on insolvency law.
He represents a variety of clients in insolvency-related matters, such as debtors, court-appointed monitors, secured lenders, and purchasers.
Ashley has extensive experience in Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act proceedings, court-appointed receiverships, and bankruptcies, often appearing in Commercial List matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from York University.
Throughout his career, Ashley has held various roles at Stikeman Elliott LLP, including serving as an Associate and an Articling Student, showcasing his dedication to the firm.
Prior to his time at Stikeman Elliott, he worked as a Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of British Columbia, further honing his legal skills and knowledge.
