Arielle Kandel
Founder & CEO of New Women New Yorkers
Arielle Kandel is a dedicated professional with a strong background in law and humanitarian work.
Her journey in the nonprofit sector started during her law studies with an internship assisting victims of crime.
After completing her Bachelor's Degree, she volunteered in India teaching English and computer skills to Tibetan refugees.
In Israel, Arielle worked as a legal assistant at the African Refugee Development Center, supporting African refugees and migrants.
She also spent four years as a Fellow at a Jerusalem-based think tank, focusing on foreign policy, diaspora, and transnationalism.
In 2014, Arielle founded New Women New Yorkers, a nonprofit empowering immigrant women in NYC through various programs and community building.
With a passion for empowering immigrant women, Arielle believes in the valuable contributions these individuals can make to society.
Arielle's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Law specializing in Humanitarian Action and International Law.
She also participated in the Immigrant Civic Leadership Program at Coro New York and completed her high school education in Paris.
