Archana Hingorani

Archana Hingorani is a globally recognized senior leader in private equity who has over 20 years of experience in fundraising, investing, and nurturing investments through different economic cycles. She co-founded Siana Capital Investments in 2017 and was a founding member of the alternative asset practice in 1996. Archana has been involved with 14 funds and 160+ investments with an aggregate capitalization value in excess of US$ 15bn, 109 liquidity events, and 70 fully exited investments. She played a crucial role in growing the US$3.5bn private equity practice across 3 verticals- growth private equity/venture capital, infrastructure private equity, and real estate private equity.

Archana has a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai. She is an expert in structuring and raising funds and most importantly, in spawning businesses and nurturing investor relationships. She has mentored and nurtured smaller start-ups in technology, education, financial inclusion space, and encouraged start-ups run by women entrepreneurs.

Archana has overseen investments across sectors, including consumer goods, retail, infrastructure, education, healthcare, logistics, clean energy, and IT. Additionally, she has participated in management challenges of multiple growth trajectories, providing holistic understanding of corporate India, as well as other emerging markets. She has served on the board of Grindwell Norton Ltd and Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited and was the CEO of IL&FS Investment Managers Ltd.
