April Krieger

April Krieger is a seasoned Clinician with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR techniques.

She is affiliated with various insurance providers and Employee Assistance Programs, including Blue Cross, Tricare, United Health, Magellan, and more.

As a Resilience Trainer and Counselor, April has been trained by experts from the Israel Center for Treatment of Psychotrauma.

Being a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her practice.

April provides Mental Health Training to Law Enforcement and First Responder Agencies and is an active member of the South Mississippi Crisis Response Team and LEAPS.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Southern Mississippi and an MS in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from William Carey University.

She has held various roles in organizations such as being an Onsite EAP Counselor at Contract Anthem On-Site Counselor at Huntington Ingalls Industries and a former CEO of Brighter Futures Counseling Services.

April's diverse experience also includes training and instructing at the Mississippi Association of Addiction Professionals and serving on the executive boards of several mental health organizations.

She has also worked as an adjunct instructor at William Carey University and has a background in law enforcement, having served in Gulf Coast Agencies and a Federal Agency.
