April Heinze
April Heinze is a retired licensed professional engineer with a strong background in public contract and construction management, as well as facilities management, energy and sustainability programs, public real estate management, public fleet management and business development. She holds an MS in Engr, Construction Management from the University of Washington and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia, and has studied the Advanced Executives Program in Business Administration at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. April has worked in various roles throughout her career, including Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Community Services Group at the County of San Diego, Director of the Department of General Services also at the County of San Diego, and Vice President at Carter & Burgess. She has a military background, having served as a Captain in the Civil Engineer Corps of the US Navy.
