Anurag Gupta

Anurag Gupta, a social entrepreneur, public speaker, mindfulness teacher, and educator, is dedicated to promoting human potential, talent, and eliminating biases. He founded BE MORE after a decade-long academic career in understanding causes and solutions associated with bias in America. Anurag earned his JD from New York University School of Law, M.Phil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with Honors in Middle Eastern & Islamic Studies, Molecular Biology, and Chemistry from New York University. He has worked for the Vera Institute of Justice and the Law and Business Program at NYU School of Law. He was also the founding director of Opening Possibilities Asia, a nonprofit organization that trained health workers and teachers to improve health and educational outcomes for women and children in Myanmar/Burma. Anurag has given public talks, lectures, and trainings on topics such as unconscious bias, social entrepreneurship, racial inequality, and mindfulness. Additionally, he sits on the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies (BCBS) Board. Anurag Gupta was TED Resident and campus campaign coordinator at Teach For America.
