Anna Vasylyeva
Associate Economist at the EBRD
Anna Vasylyeva is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background. She studied Economics with a GPA of 4.16 at National Taiwan University during a Semester abroad. After that, she pursued a Master of Public Policy focusing on Public Policy Analysis at the prestigious University of Oxford. Prior to that, Anna completed her Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Public Policy and Economics with honors cum laude at University College Maastricht. Her educational journey also includes studying the International Baccalaureate at Pearson College UWC.
Anna Vasylyeva has gained valuable professional experience through her roles in various organizations. Currently, she serves as an Associate Economist in the Green Economy Transition division at EBRD. Previously, she held the position of Executive Director of the Ukrainian National Committee at UWC International. Anna has also worked as an Intern in Economics Policy and Governance at EBRD, an Auditor at Audit Scotland, and an Intern in research & development of fixed Income products at Equileap. Her experience also includes roles such as Junior Teaching Fellow at University College Maastricht, Junior Economist at Centre for Economic Strategy, and Sustainability Strategy Coordinator at the Green Office at Maastricht University. Additionally, she has interned at the Department of International Co-operation and European Integration at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and as a Research intern focusing on migration and development at UNU-MERIT.
