Anna Loparev

Anna Loparev is a senior UX researcher with over a decade of experience in academia and industry, specializing in bridging the gap between users and product creators.

With a background in human-computer interaction, Anna brings an analytical mindset, academic curiosity, and a passion for impactful research methodologies to her work.

She thrives on overcoming challenges through automation and optimization, having experience in designing processes, developing templates, and standardizing frameworks.

Driven by a desire to improve user experiences, Anna dedicates her career to enhancing usability in various products, currently working on successful software like Empower for liquid chromatography.

Her expertise lies in qualitative and quantitative research, interviews, usability testing, and interdepartmental collaboration.

Anna holds a PhD and MS in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Rochester, a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from Wellesley College, and has also studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

She has held roles as a Senior User Experience Researcher at Waters Corporation, Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer at Wellesley College, Learning Analyst at Second Avenue Learning, Lecturer at the University of Rochester, and various positions at the Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab.
