Anna Duning

Anna Duning is the Budget Director in the Mayor's Office for the City and County of San Francisco. Duning has a strong background in public policy and budget management. She holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Political and Social Thought, as well as Spanish, from the University of Virginia. Before her current position, she gained experience as a Graduate Researcher and Project Manager at UC Berkeley, focusing on academic policy research and teaching. Additionally, she has worked in tech policy and legal operations at Google, which provided her with a diverse skill set applicable to her public service career.1
