Anibal Abdiel Cardenas-Mosquera
Head of Solutions Mapping at UNDP Accelerator Labs
Anibal Cardenas-Mosquera is a seasoned international development professional with diverse experience working in NGO management, social development projects, and interventions in partnership with local and international organizations. He has led the implementation of over 20 projects throughout Panama, benefiting approximately 3000 community members, particularly in the Emberá-Wounaan and Ngäbe-Buglé indigenous territories.
Anibal's work in urban and international settings, as well as remote communities, has provided him with a humble and eclectic approach to sustainable development. He has a Master of Arts in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies/University of Sussex, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business/Corporate Communications from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá, and a Diplomatura in management of non-profit organizations from The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars.
Anibal has worked with esteemed organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Partners of the Americas, Global Brigades, and Courts for Kids. He has also served as the PartnersCampus Panama President and the Oficial de Relaciones Internacionales at Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
Currently, Anibal is the Head of Solutions Mapping at UNDP Accelerator Labs, where he draws on his extensive experience to spearhead innovative solutions to complex development challenges. His diverse range of skills, coupled with his expertise in sustainable development, indigenous/human rights, and alternative worldviews on development, makes him a valuable asset to any organization seeking to achieve transformative change.
