Kerry Connor

Kerry is deeply passionate about social justice and corporate social responsibility and believes that transformational leadership is the key to creating justice globally. She has spent two decades working to level the playing field for under-served populations, with a specific focus on education, international development, healthcare, criminal justice reform, and immigration. Her passion is scaling enterprises through effective internal systems and structures that increase organizational effectiveness. Most recently prior to consulting, Kerry served as the Chief Talent Officer and oversaw many national programmatic functions including family engagement and organizing, digital and marketing and communications at Stand for Children, a non-profit education advocacy organization focused on ensuring all students receive a high quality, relevant education, especially those whose boundless potential is overlooked and under-tapped because of their skin color, zip code, first language, or disability. Prior to her work at Stand for Children, Kerry led national recruitment efforts at Jumpstart for Young Children, a national early education organization working toward the day every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed by providing language, literacy, and social-emotional programming for preschool children from under-resourced communities. Prior to Jumpstart, she worked on addressing sexual assault and domestic violence through training volunteers who responded in crisis situations. Kerry received her undergraduate degree from University of Georgia and her master's degree from University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
