    Andy Weekes is the founder and CEO of iCandi Apps Ltd. and a successful app developer.1 He turned his interest in developing mobile and tablet apps into a full-time career, starting in 2008 while working as a music teacher.1 Weekes is best known for creating "Night Sky," an app that allows users to identify celestial objects by pointing their device at the sky. The app has sold nearly 30 million copies to date.1

    Weekes' success has been recognized by two universities. In 2013, he was awarded Alumni of the Year in Enterprise and Innovation by De Montfort University, and in 2014, he received the same award from Birmingham City University.1
