I lead marketing and strategy for Planet Sport, a business with a mission to entertain and engage sports audiences. We publish fantastic titles like Football365, TEAMtalk, PlanetF1.com, Planet Rugby. With PlanetSport.com we bring it all together and cross-promote our sports betting and casino brand Planet Sport Bet. We reach 20M+ fans per month on our own platforms and a further 65M on Apple News, MSN, and across social media. We develop innovative content engagement campaigns and products; working with agencies and brand advertisers, gaming operators, publishers and partners in broadcast and mobile right across the globe.

A professional services business for the sports industry, Sport Acuity delivers strategic consultancy and content to sports federations, media owners and gaming businesses. Alongside a seasoned team of sports industry specialists I co-founded the firm in 2017 and specialised in branding, digital marketing, content development and commercial partnerships.

As a digital content, media and branding consultant I managed marketing operations and revenue development for a media business, created a social media strategy for a major betting & gaming organisation, provided strategic marketing consultancy for an app start-up and advised various agencies and private equity houses.

At Perform (now DAZN) I created and managed a large global marketing team who delivered audience and revenue growth for the group's portfolio of owned and operated consumer media brands. We operated Goal, the world's largest football media brand; US-multi-sports title Sporting News; football data specialist Soccerway and German sports brand Spox amongst many others. 

I led a successful re-brand of Goal claiming gold at the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards 2015 and by January 2016, the brand reached 70 million users per month, having more than doubled audience since July 2012 and enjoyed a social media following of 50 million - up from just 3m - in just three years.

> Content and Brand Marketing - driving traffic, debate, audience and social sharing of our branded content through a variety of tactical/strategic campaigns and partnerships.

> Commercial Marketing - helping the likes of Sony, PUMA, UEFA, EA Sports, Gatorade and many more to activate digital commercial and sponsorship partnerships.

> Product Marketing - building an audience for our array of apps (e.g. Goal Live Scores - a number 1 sports app in over 30 countries) and brand extensions - informing the development of our product offering.

> Customer Marketing - CRM strategy development plus customer communication activity for Perform's owned and operated brands.

During my time at Sky Sports I learned a tremendous amount about the sports, media, gaming and digital industries. I managed a great team of account managers, social media and content specialists within Sky Sports' Digital Media division working across advertising and sponsorship, content planning, digital marketing and a wide range of commercial projects. Prior to this I was Head of Group Marketing for 365 Media Group, acquired by Sky in 2006.

> Collaboratively worked with Sky Media to create and account manage countless client sponsorship campaigns, notably: Adidas, Apple, Barclays, Guinness, Jaguar, Nike, Vodafone.

> Developed Sky Sports’ entire social media output, style and strategy: from collaborating with Sky roster agencies to coaching broadcast presenters on how to use social media.

> Ran Sky Sports’ SEO activity: working with external agencies and in-house development teams to successfully enhance natural search performance.

> Responsibility for Sky Sports’ KPI/analytics provision. Involved in Sky-wide web analytics provision tender, managing rollout, training and reporting across the division. 

> Involved in countless internal product, brand and event campaigns such as launch of Sky Sports F1. Responsibility for all internal/external advertising, sponsorship, betting and commercial requirements for the re-launch of skysports.com and others. 

> Published Sky Sportzine email to 500,000+ every week. Integrated a new email service providers, developed NPS measurement with Sky IQ and was Data Protection Co-ordinator for Sky Sports.

> Developed launch event activity for Team Sky Pro Cycling before helping develop the team’s on-going digital media strategy.

> Led marketing for Sporting Life and its sister - totalbet and ukbetting - sportsbooks.
