CEO at Deazy - Building an ecosystem where developing tech is easy for all
Andy Peddar is a tech entrepreneur and digital strategist who co-founded and serves as the CEO of Deazy, a curated marketplace of development talent.12 He started his career in management consulting at Capgemini and is an alumnus of ESCP Europe Business School, where he studied an International MBA in Paris and London.14
Peddar founded Deazy in 2018 with technical director Gus Chadney.3 The idea for Deazy came from the failure of his previous startup, The SalonBook, which struggled due to challenges in finding the right development partner.13 Deazy connects enterprises, agencies, and VC-backed startups with high-quality development teams, offering a pool of more than 5,000 vetted developers across 70 handpicked teams in Europe and Latin America.14
Under Peddar's leadership, Deazy has:
- Raised £6.25 million in total funding, including a £5 million Series A round in January 2022.3
- Grown to a multi-million revenue business with clients ranging from VC-backed scale-ups to multinational enterprises.4
- Been ranked as the 13th fastest-growing technology company in the UK by the Deloitte Technology Fast 50.3
Peddar is passionate about failing fast, learning from mistakes, and sharing those learnings to help others avoid potential pitfalls.14 His goal is to make Deazy the most trusted global developer marketplace by 2025.3
