I provided key contributions to to the development of company/product strategy as OZ looked to expand into the European market. I was also responsible for OZ's European product roadmap and played a major pre-sales support role.

In addition to this I led and ran the expansion of OZ's development capacity in Europe.

Key Achievements
-  Product expertise and market knowledge helped gain 45% European market share in 3 years by establishing and building company credibility
-  Set up new development team with 11 European client developers on 3 sites in different countries, including setting up a local office, recruiting staff and led the team to deliver client software.
-  Unified internal tools within a new framework, producing a service modelling/business casing tool and used this externally as well, to lead service usage workshops for operators.

I was responsible for the full product life cycle - including the initial identification of opportunities, business case justification / revenue prediction and product requirement specification. I was also the  internal / external product champion, responsible for producing, maintaining and communicating the product roadmap and providing (pre-)sales support. Beyond this I also provided standards body involvement and - as is typical for a start-up - testing input, customer support and process improvement.

I also previously held the following roles within Magic4:
Test Manager: with team of up to 21 testers.
Portal Development Manager: with team of 6; social internet beta site delivered (2000)

Key Achievements:
-  Built £5m p/a product line, incl  product functions and managed development of 2 clients by ODCs
-  Participated in the development of key international standards for OMA and GSMA
-  As Test Manager, set up the Testing Department, team and processes, including team recruitment of 20 (using contractors where necessary)
-  Led in-house development of automated test tool, halving resource requirements & saving ~£0.5m p/a

I was responsible for all production planning / scheduling across a range of rolling programs and projects, on which I led the teams and ensured staff development. I also headed up client, project and product development through these programs and projects.

In addition, I operated in several other roles, including multimedia trainer; senior prototyping programmer, etc.

Key Achievements
-  Program managed the design, implementation, launch and development of the official Liverpool FC website – including the online shop, which took over £100k orders in the first month.
-  Various smaller projects and developed & presented courseware for a multi-media training course.
