Andy MacMillan

Andy MacMillan is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience in the software industry. He recently served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UserTesting, a company specializing in human insights for product development and customer experience. Under his leadership, UserTesting grew significantly, becoming a leader in its category with revenues exceeding $300 million. MacMillan was instrumental in transforming the company's product portfolio and enhancing its customer-centric approach.124

Before his tenure at UserTesting, which began in May 2018, MacMillan held various key positions, including Chairman and CEO of Act-On Software and several roles at Salesforce, where he led the Data.com division. His career also includes significant roles at Oracle and Stellent, where he focused on product management and marketing.35

MacMillan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication from Michigan State University and an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Management from The University of Edinburgh.5

As of December 2024, he has transitioned to become the CEO of Alteryx, an AI platform for enterprise analytics, where he aims to drive innovation and enhance the company's product offerings.12
