10,000 PC Windows 7 desktop refresh for Global Bank in 17 sites in UK and Jersey. Managed the recovery of this failing project that required a complete overhaul whilst continuing deployments. Tasks included redesigning build process, build platform, audit, deployment process, demand, demand software, comms., supplier contracts. Additionally, managed customer escalations, stock procurement, staff recruitment, stakeholder engagement and budget.
The build process was supported by the development of bespoke software; managed this process in an agile environment and supervised UAT

Engaged with printers in 7 countries to negotiate rates and enrol into the print solution.  This also required a migration from UK based process and technology into a global solution, i.e. finance, distribution modelling and language.

Change Management – Introduction of Digital Print Process.
Reviewed traditional print process and developed new processes based on the ‘print on demand’ capability of new volume digital print devices.  Migrated four print companies across from the previous manually intensive method to the new ‘touchless’ solution.  This change was complex and included IT, technical and financial changes; but most importantly it changed the working practice of staff from senior management right down to the shop floor.  This work was so innovative that it attracted a DTI Smart grant for “significant development in process or technology” and was significant enough to justify a published paper:
