Andy Smetana

Andrew Smetana is a skilled attorney with extensive experience working with technology companies and their investors. He possesses a Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in business organizations and finance law from Boston University School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Smetana has held various positions throughout his career, including Emerging Companies and Venture Capital Partner at Perkins Coie LLP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Vapor IO, and M&A, Venture Capital and Public Markets Counsel at Vinson & Elkins. He was also previously Co-Chair and Treasurer of the Technology Section at the Austin Bar Association, an Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Reed Smith LLP, and a Research Assistant and Intern at Sutton Law Center.

Throughout his career, Smetana has demonstrated his expertise in the legal aspects of emerging and established technology companies, including venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and corporate governance.
