Andrew Shum

Andrew Shum is a talented individual with diverse interests ranging from making things, understanding cultural impact, data science, to entrepreneurship.

His educational background is enriched with a blend of artistic and scientific knowledge. He pursued Graphic Design, Art & Design at the Royal College of Art, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and Physics from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and completed his High School Degree at High Technology High School.

Andrew has garnered valuable experience and expertise through his roles in various reputable organizations. He served as the Former VP of Product at Sotheby's, where he honed his strategic and product development skills. Additionally, he co-founded Thread Genius and held the position of CEO before its acquisition by Sotheby's. His involvement as a Software Engineer at Spotify and a Software Engineering Intern at Google has further solidified his technical acumen. Moreover, he contributed his research capabilities while working as a Researcher in the Computational Biophysics Group at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
