Andrew Munk

Andrew Munk is an experienced life science professional with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. With a PhD and Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University, Munk has held various positions in business and corporate development. He served as a Vice-President, Senior Director, and Director of Business Development at Caprion Biosciences Inc., where he demonstrated a proven track record of engaging, building and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic decision makers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and diagnostic industries. Munk has a strong international background, with experience in North America, Europe and Asia. His specialties include International Business Development, Relationship Management, Senior Stakeholder Relations, Intellectual Property Management, Licensing, Sales and Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Company Start-up, and Strategic Planning. Prior to his roles at Caprion Biosciences Inc., Munk was the CEO of MRM Proteomics Inc. and the Chief Operating Officer of Alphalyse Inc. He was also a Staff Scientist/Post Doctoral Fellow at Institut Pasteur and the Director - International Relations at Medicon Valley Alliance.
