Andy Mendrala is a versatile attorney with a passion for civil rights, advocacy, education, and development. He obtained his J.D from Howard University School of Law and his LLM in Advocacy from Georgetown University Law Center. Before joining Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC as an associate, he served as a supervising attorney at Georgetown University Law Center's Civil Rights Clinic and Voting Rights Institute. He also worked as a litigation senior associate at WilmerHale, and clerked for the Honorable Deborah Chasanow at the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
In addition to his legal practice, Mendrala has also worked as an associate director for development at NativityMiguel Network of Schools and co-owned Cunningham Farms. Before becoming a lawyer, he taught religion at St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School. Mendrala's multidisciplinary background and experience make him a well-rounded and accomplished attorney.
