Andrew Kaner

Andrew Kaner is a professional electrical engineer with over a decade of experience in the power industry. His expertise lies in the electrical design of utility-scale and distributed generation photovoltaic plants, with a portfolio encompassing over 1,000 MW. Additionally, Andrew has a strong background in photovoltaic resource evaluation, site selection, feasibility analysis, system modeling, campus distribution electrical design, energy studies, and industrial facility electrical design. He has also been involved in federal infrastructure evaluation and planning. Andrew pursued his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. He currently works as an Electrical Engineer at HDR, where he has previously served as an Electrical Engineer Intern. Prior to HDR, he gained experience as a Student Electrical Engineer at the University of Minnesota, specializing in Energy Management.
