Andrew Erickson

Andrew Erickson is a talented software engineer with a diverse background in web development, project management, and Chinese language studies. He received his B.A. in East Asian Studies from Lewis & Clark College and studied Advanced Chinese at Yunnan University and Beijing Education College, as well as Chinese Language and Culture at Peking University. Additionally, Andrew holds a Nanodegree in Mobile Web Specialist from Udacity and is interested in emerging technologies such as Service Workers, Web Workers, React + React Native, Docker, Serverless, Vue.js & Nuxt.js, and more.

Andrew has worked in a variety of roles, including software engineer at Dipsea, backend node developer at CDK Global via Beacon Hill Staffing Group, and full-stack developer at Northwest Media Collective, Inc. He has also worked as a developer/marketing intern at Top Left Creative and as an ecommerce manager at Midway LLC. Beyond tech, Andrew is passionate about sustainability and was previously co-founder of Macro Conscious, a social enterprise that advocated for environmentally responsible practices.
