Andres Perez is a highly-educated aerospace engineer with expertise in dynamic and control systems for a wide range of aircraft, including commercial aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). With a Ph.D. in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, Perez has a strong educational background.
Before his current position as a System Engineer/Product Owner for Automatic Flight Control Systems at Collins Aerospace, Perez worked as a graduate research assistant at Universidad de los Andes and as an Airframe Interiors Engineer at Avianca. He is also a former Ph.D. student research assistant at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he developed and tested software that was later deployed into hardware.
In addition to his technical knowledge, Perez has developed expertise in software development, testing, and deployment into hardware. His professional interests focus on advancing the field of aerospace engineering and creating efficient and reliable systems for aircraft control.
