Andreas Teuber
Professor of Philosophy
Andreas Teuber was a prominent Professor of Philosophy at Brandeis University, where he taught from 1985 until his retirement in 2020. He was born in 1942 and received both his BA and PhD from Harvard University, studying under notable philosophers including John Rawls and Robert Nozick.123
Teuber specialized in political philosophy and ethics, contributing significantly to discussions around these areas throughout his academic career. He also served as the Chair of the Philosophy Department from 2005 to 2011, showcasing his leadership within the department.24
