Andre Gentil

Andre Felix Gentil is a highly skilled neurosurgeon at the prestigious Albert Einstein Hospital, specializing in brain and spinal pathologies.

With a solid academic background, Andre completed his medical education, residency, and post-graduation at the renowned University of Sao Paulo Medical School (FMUSP). He further honed his expertise through a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, which has facilitated his involvement in numerous research projects, international collaborations, and visits to medical centers worldwide.

Throughout his career, Andre has garnered several accolades, including the FMUSP Harvey Award for Best Academic Performance and the Massachusetts General Hospital Certificate of Excellence for his research on the cingulate cortex. He holds a Ph.D. in Neuropsychiatry from a collaboration between FMUSP, Harvard/MGH Department of Neurotherapeutics, and the Karolinska Institutet.

During his tenure at Grupo NotreDame Intermédica, Andre was actively involved in the surgical and clinical treatment of adult and pediatric patients. He managed a team of neurosurgeons, overseeing both elective and emergency cases, drawing on his experience as Chief Resident and Preceptor of Neurosurgery at the USP Residency Program.
