Amy Schumacher

Amy Schumacher, a seasoned executive with over two decades of industry experience, currently serves as the CEO of The Heritage Group and is a member of its board of trustees. Since joining The Heritage Group in 2016, Amy has been instrumental in spearheading the company's transformation and fostering organic growth through innovative initiatives and strategic mergers and acquisitions.

In her capacity as President of The Heritage Group, Amy oversees the operations of 20 businesses and leads a team of 3,000 employees. Her leadership and expertise have been pivotal in driving the company's success and market expansion.

Prior to her role as CEO, Amy held the position of President at Monument Chemical, a subsidiary of The Heritage Group, where she played a key role in expanding the company's presence from a local specialty chemicals business to a global entity with operations spanning across multiple states and countries. Amy started her professional journey at Accenture, honing her skills and expertise in the industry.

Amy's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. She furthered her academic pursuits by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management.

Beyond her professional commitments, Amy is actively involved in various organizations, holding board positions at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Calumet Specialty Products, and The Women's Fund.
