Amy McDonough

Amy McDonough is the Vice President of Project Development in New York at Borrego Solar, leading the solar sales and development efforts for large-scale projects in the Northeast.

With a background in geology and environmental consulting, Amy has overseen the development of over 40 MW of solar projects in Massachusetts and New York, focusing on ground-mounted installations.

Amy's expertise extends to project permitting, land development, and remote net-metered projects, with a particular emphasis on landfill and brownfield projects.

She has been instrumental in developing solar arrays for various entities in New York, including educational institutions like Houghton College and Tompkins Cortland Community College, as well as municipalities and private organizations.

Amy holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Miami University and a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Vermont. She is also a LEED® Accredited Professional.

Currently, as the Director of Sales in New York at Borrego Solar, Amy manages the solar development team, supporting the company's engineering, procurement, and construction work.
