Amna Arshad

Amna Arshad is an accomplished transportation and aviation adviser with a wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors of the industry. With years of diverse experience, she has provided counsel to various aviation-related entities on regulatory, commercial, and civil litigation matters. Her expertise has earned her prestigious recognitions such as being named a 40 Under 40 honoree by Washington Business Journal in 2021 and Law360's Rising Star in Transportation in 2018.

During her tenure as a Senior Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Transportation, Amna played a pivotal role in enforcing aviation regulations, drafting regulatory guidelines, conducting investigations and audits, and managing negotiations with both domestic and foreign air carriers and ticket agents. Her contributions to the industry have secured her a place on Law360's Transportation Editorial Advisory Board for four consecutive years.

An industry thought leader, Amna has co-authored a chapter on DOT Consumer Protection in the ABA publication, Aviation Regulation in the U.S. She is actively involved in the International Aviation Club of Washington, DC, and serves as the Head of US Aviation Regulatory Practice - Special Counsel at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
