Amit Gir, MD

Amit Gir, MD, is a physician and healthcare entrepreneur who is making waves in the medical world with his innovative and creative ideas. He studied Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the American University of the Caribbean. He also pursued Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies at The Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Gir has held numerous roles in the healthcare industry, including Internal Medicine Hospitalist at Kaiser Permanente, Co-Founder at Doctomize, and Internal Medicine Hospitalist & Director of Hospital Informatics at Inova Health System. He was also a Resident Physician at Aurora Health Care and worked as a New Technologies Researcher at Schering-Plough Healthcare Products (now Merck).

Currently, Dr. Gir is the CEO and Co-Founder of Phox Health, a healthcare technology startup that aims to provide affordable and accessible care to everyone. He is also a practicing hospitalist in Riverside, CA. Dr. Gir's expertise lies in hospital medicine, informatics, and healthcare entrepreneurship. He is passionate about using technology to improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare delivery.
