Amin Delagah is an expert in hot water systems research, policy development, and advocacy. Having previously worked on field testing of water-saving equipment, he now focuses on laboratory testing of heat pump water heaters in multi-family buildings to support energy efficiency codes and standards. He has served as a committee member for the ACEEE Hot Water Forum and as a Subcommittee Chair for ASHRAE TC 6.6 Service Water Heating Handbook. Delagah has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from Curtin University. His interests include green building, renewable energy systems, waste energy recovery, and electric transportation.
