Aasim Yahya

Aasim Yahya, a second-year Political Science major at the prestigious University of California, Berkeley, is a young and accomplished non-profit leader, political candidate, and community advocate who has spent years honing his skills and working towards his goals. With a minor in Public Policy from the school's Goldman School of Public Policy, Aasim is dedicated to bettering the world and making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. With a GPA of 3.95, he has excelled academically and put his knowledge into practice with various roles in research, political offices, and non-profit organizations. As a former Senator of the Associated Students of the University of California, Executive Director of The EduTrack Foundation, and legislative intern at the Offices of U.S. Senator Kamala Harris and Senator Nancy Skinner, Aasim has a wealth of experience in organizational leadership, government operations, and policy development. In addition, he has founded organizations such as Voter Navigator and served as a Project Manager in the Office of Senator Imran Khan. Furthermore, he has worked as a Director of High School Programs of The EduTrack Foundation and a Campaign Manager/ Candidate for California State Assembly.
