Amber Sims

Amber Sims is the Chief Executive Officer of Young Leaders, Strong City (YLSC), a prominent organization in the Dallas-Fort Worth area focused on racial equity and youth empowerment. Under her leadership, YLSC aims to educate, equip, and activate youth leaders to address issues of racial justice and equity. The organization has been instrumental in dismantling institutional racism and promoting community change through various programs and initiatives since its founding in 2014.14

Amber is also a founding member of The Imagining Freedom Institute, where she leads efforts in historical analysis and racial equity training.
